Building a Healthier Future Together
Greater Works Campaign
Help us expand Bethesda Health Clinic to provide more affordable care to East Texans in need.
Together, We're Building Hope for East Texas Families
For more than two decades, Bethesda Health Clinic has been a place of healing, hope, and help for thousands of hard-working adults in East Texas who are either uninsured or underinsured. We know that many families struggle to afford medical care, even when they work full-time. That’s where Bethesda steps in – offering affordable, high-quality healthcare in a Christ-centered environment.
The need for healthcare has outgrown the capacities of our adult and pediatric clinics, so the Greater Works Campaign was created to help fund the merging of these clinics into a new larger facility. Together, as a community, we need to raise another 10%. Visit this page frequently to check the Greater Works Campaign thermometer as we work together to achieve this goal.
Our Hollywood Story
Bethesda has found the perfect place to grow – the Hollywood Theater building on the West loop. This new location will become Bethesda’s new home, offering 46,602 square feet of space for clinical care.
This larger building will allow us to:
- Unite our pediatric and adult services in one place.
- Expand access to dental and mental health services.
- Provide more specialty care options.
- Host a new Hangers of Hope resale location, which will contribute significantly to fund our new clinic.
This move is more than just a change of address. It’s a powerful step toward even greater service and deeper impact in East Texas.
A Vision is Becoming Reality

New Hangers of Hope Thrift Store
Hangers of Hope is a vital part of Bethesda Health Clinic’s mission to provide affordable healthcare to underserved individuals and families in the community.
Through generous donations of gently used clothing and goods, and the support of the dedicated volunteers and customers, Hangers of Hope helps fund critical healthcare services.
Included with this project is a new Hangers of Hope store, strategically located on the West Loop. We’re not just expanding our clinic – we’re expanding our ability to sustain it. That’s why this store is being launched specifically to help fund the new clinic, with 100% of it’s proceeds going toward covering the additional $250,000 in annual operating costs.
